For the IB, am I allowed to use wikipedia as a source, or is it frowned upon?

Why would you ever use wikipedia for anything? Most of its articles will provide citations anyway. Quote them.

I SO AGREE.
i read an article that using wikipedia can actually lower people's grades.
everyone edits in wikipedia..
so i dont think quoting wikipedia is a good idea

Dont quote wikipedia.

BUT - find a useful page on wikipedia, go to the bottom of it and you will see the source links. View them and use them for quotes/sources etc.

MUCH BETTER :-)

I used it as a source and i got a B for my EE. As long as you use it for purely information dont quote from it..
