Framework document. We do not have a central written constitution, unlike, say, America. Royal prerogative are government powers which have no statutory origin, constitutional convention are unwritten rules of political morality, and constitutional statutes are statutes which are immune to implied repeal (eg the Human Rights Act 1998).
