Hi everyone.

Basically I checked my bank this morning and found a credit of £60 in my account, with the description "Housing".

I thought this might be housing benefit by mistake (I don't get it) so rang HSBC and they told me it was from a company/account called Hexagon.

Anyone know what this is/is it housing benefit?

I wanna get it sorted so I don't get done for benefit fraud like those adverts

I get EMA for £30, so it could be 2 payments, but they usually come in on Friday and it would say "EMA Payment"

Hmm....

Thats weird. I would wait though. Don't spend it. If it ends up being a mistake and the money isn't actually yours then they will take it back, even if you have spent it!

Try and do some more researching, go into branch and say you had a strange payment come through from an unknown source and you want it sorted. Or you could just leave it.
