deciding between 2 jobs (gap year)

I'm currently on a gap year and I'm applying for engineering. I applied for some jobs and received 2 offers to work in the NHS:

a) Pharmacy Assistant
- mainly dispensing and delivering drugs
- takes ~90mins by public transport
- 'bank' role so I can choose my shifts

b) Porter
- mainly transporting patients / medical equipment around
- takes ~50mins by public transport
- full time job so 37.5hrs a week
- the pay is between 2-5k more than job (a)

Which job should I choose (bearing in mind I'll only be working them for a year or so before I go to uni)?

Go with job (b)
Seems better in every single way.

[edit]
I’ve worked as a bank before and honestly it kinda makes you lazy to book shifts especially ecof you not paying rent or anything serious.
Currently in my gap year too and got a 39hr Monday to Friday role and honestly, I enjoy it more than when I had a bank role.
