i moved it to Sociology study help so hopefully it will

firsty, what is gender?
"Gender refers to the socially constructed characteristics of women and men, such as norms, roles, and relationships of and between groups of women and men. It varies from society to society and can be changed." (hence it's social.)

gender is also personal, in that it's how you take on gender norms/gender roles for yourself. how you present yourself. i'm not an expert tho so if this is for an exam please use a better source
