Since it lies on the y axis, x must be zero, therefore you can sub in x=0 into the equation to get your y value

Found the question on the last page of the practice questions given.

You need the quadratic to be an inequality, where the quadratic is greater then a value.
That value is 75% greater than the orginal area.
Therefore need:

 A > \text{``Value 75 \% greater than the original area''} .

What is the original area?

Then what is 75% more than the orginal area?
