In terms of playing staff, the higher profile a club the more multicultural it’ll be as the best players from all around the world want to play at a top level. Elite footballers from every country and continent around the world want to take part in the biggest competitions with the most fans and TV exposure.

Its not exclusively Western Europe, some Eastern European teams with strong financial backing like CSKA Moskva and Shakhtar Donetsk have attracted good South American players with the lure of playing in the UEFA Champions League as well.
