Making notes took a long time and it's not that fun tbh, but I know it's important. I want ways to remember and retained info from my notes that is not just reading it repeatedly please.

It’s still a little boring I will admit but I often find that for things such as quotes or equations if I record myself saying them and listen to it you take it in.

For some subjects or topics, writing essays can be effective. When you read notes you think, “Yeah, I know that.” But when you have to write an essay (not just a paragraph) you’ll find that things are a lot less clear in your mind. You’ll forget facts and also find you don’t always remember in a coherent order.
