Reply 2

My mate got rejected from McDonald's. He's a bit of a ****** though.
Tbh, it was probably a good thing. It should make you try harder, in the end you will get a much better job.

Not everyone is Maccy D material...

Try Subway?

Reply 5

Maccy D's actually have higher standards than I thought...I was looking at their recruitment page and they now require A levels

I was shocked!

Reply 6

Reply 7

Well that's not just for normal crew members. I can guarantee that.

Aww man I am gutted! I just needed a job and applied to other places but this just means I'm not going to find a job elsewhere because the oter places I have applied are considered 'more high class'. Awwwwww man!!!! Ps no offence to McD's workers-I wanted to be one of you...

Apply to more places then, I have just got a job yesterday so they are still out there

Reply 13

i dont think it will be anything personal

they probably didnt need any more workers, or they had already filled up the spaces

i really wouldnt let it get you down, aim higher

Reply 14

Look at it this way...it was meant to happen....you weren't meant to work at McDonalds because there is another better post waiting for you somewhere and you will find it! It's only a matter of time so don't lose hope!

Good luck to you!

I wouldnt be too insulted, I know the first reaction is to be offended and feel abit ***** but to be honest, see it as a compliment, ever had anyone tell you "you dont wana be flipping burgers for the rest of your life" ? Theres a reason for that and there'll also be a better job more suited for you somewhere. I take it your going to/ at uni? Leave the MacDonalds jobs for the 16 year old school drop outs.

I got rejected from McD's today WITHOUT even a bloody interview! AAAAAAAAARGH I thought that would be the 1 place I would atleast get called to an interview. I feel like crying-I will never find a job!!!:frown: :frown: :frown:

Get over it!

They probably had enough applicants so didn't even consider some, so they just 'chucked' the excess ones, that's what unis do with some UCAS applicantions...

Reply 19

Don't worry, McDonald's rejected me without interview too. I'm sure they gave the job to some guy I knew who wrote 'Satanist' under the religion section of the application form...
