The Daily Mail and The Evening Standard are traditionally Conservative papers.
Papers such as The Guardian and The Observer are more liberal.
The Sun was originally a big Labour paper, although this has dwindled recently.
The Times and The Independent are in the "middle" as they say.

The Independent and The Guardian, being liberal-leaning papers, usually go with parties that most suit their views (which tend to be the Democrats or Labour),
The Telegraph is basically a mouthpiece for the Conservatives,
The Sun, being a populist paper, goes with whoever it thinks will win the election,
The Daily Mirror, being left-wing, tends to support Labour,
The Times, being centre-right, usually swings between Labour and the Conservatives though there is a bias towards the latter.
The Daily Mail usually supports parties whose core voters tend to be reactionary, xenophobic, homophobic and etc, so if I had to pick which fo the three main parties they go for, I proobably would not bet Labour or Lib Dems,

Israeli Joke.

An Israeli is in America, and a guy comes up to him and says "Hey! You're Israeli! Why are you reading Al-Quds al-Arabi?!?"

The Israeli replies "Well I used to read Israeli newspapers, and all I saw was "We can't stop the rockets" "We are weak" "We are losing". When I read Arab newspapers, all i hear is "Jews own the world", "Jews control the world" and "Jews are all powerful". It makes me feel good."

Telegraph (or Torygraph as Private Eye calls it) -- strongly Conservative
Times -- Conservative
Guardian (which I read!) -- Liberal Democrat/left-leaning generally
Independent -- left-leaning

And the tabloids are all pretty right-wing, whomever they support!
