Fate Stay Night - what do the servants get after winning the holy grail?

I heard the grail only grants one wish, and it's usually the master's intention to win it. So what's in it for the servant? Why are they fighting?

Might know. As far as I recall they were immortal anyway but only stayed around as long as their master survived? If you won then they got to stay around and were immortal as well?

Its several years ago since I watched it so cant say for sure. I was guessing but a great victory for the servant to be the winner and I think they would get some sort of immortality or existence by virtue of their master being alive.
