Boyfriends' sister hates me?!

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years now and we're very happy together. Only one thing, his sister is and always has been utterly foul to me. When were alone I try to start conversation with her and she throws one-worded answers back at me. She never says hello or good bye, nevers smiles at me, NOTHING. I also found out the other day she was responsible for starting a vicious, completely false rumour about me last year.

AND she even asked my boyfriend to not bring me to her pub again (shes an assistant manager at this pub), to which he told her she was being utterly ridiculous. How on earth do I maintain my cool around this girl??

Hah, my boyfriend's dad does this to me (minus the rumour). Only thing to do is be as polite as possible when they're around, because there's no way she'll change. My boyfriend's dad tells him there's no problem whenever he asks, except it's obviously a lie because he pretends I don't exist and ignores me when he sees me. It's unpleasant but can't be helped, sometimes people just don't like you. :frown:

i was thinking more along the lines of:

"****ing hell, i'm wrecked! last night was amazing, i must have come 10 times! he's a right catch your brother"

Its not shocking, she probably has done this with all his girlfriends.

But maybe you should tell your bf about this,
but really the only thing you can do is keep it cool and be very nice, because your bf's the important 1 and you dont wanna ruin the relationship with him, so dw cuz your goin out wiv him not his sister!!

Sister's can be horrible, my (ex) boyfriend's step-sister was a friend of mine, she introduced us and as soon as we seemed to be getting close she completely turned on me. She called me bitch to my face, barely talked to me and constantly told him i was cheating on him. She hated me simply cos we were together and i was getting more attention than her, now she hates me cos i broke up with him and 'broke his heart'. We are still good friends and he can't take me to his house despite the rest of his family really liking me cos she will make stupid jokes all the time.
There is not alot you can do, if she doesn't like you she doesn't like, just ignore her.
