The water where I'm at uni is hard af! I don't feel clean at all, it's there any way I can soften the water in my shower without installing a water softener??? Help

water softening either involves a water softener or by boiling (which is only partially effective) so no, except for a (probably less good) shower head water softener which

With hard water, you do need to use way more shampoo/soap/cleanser etc., as it doesn't lather up as much as it does with soft water. You'll get used to the different amount you have to use.
