I’ll post any sketch of the question . How do you show that MN and ST bisect one another ?

Could you post a picture of the original question, there may be extra info about ST?

This question has come up a lot on this forum and IIRC the line should be from M to N rather than from M to C.

If you can do part (a), then you know the vector MN in terms of a and b. To get from M to D, you have to do part of this journey. You don't know how much, so call it sMD, where s is some number between 0 and 1. You can then add this to the vector from O to M to get an expression for the vector OD in terms of a, b and s.

Now do the same thing for the journey from O to D but taking the route OBSD using your answer to (b). This time, use a different sybol, t, to indicate how much of the journey from S to T you are doing.

You now have two ways to get from O to D. Since they both start and end in the same places, they must be equal. So put them equal and see if you can find the values of s and t. You'll also need to write up a convincing conclusion.
