ABCD and DAEF are similar but their orientations are different which makes the question a bit confusing. Try drawing the two rectangles separately next to each other and rotate DAEF so it has the same orientation as ABCD. Then look at the question again. If you're still stuck, please post this diagram showing the two separate rectangles.
