Perform a practical task to determine the presence of glucose in the “samples” received. This practical task is a common clinical test generating patient data.
Analyse the data collected with reference to normal physiological values and suggest reasons why some samples may vary from this. Compare and contrast the normal physiological processes and the possible pathology suggested by the data collected.
Include in this report information about the following systems in the human body:
● Cardiovascular
● Urinary
● Musculoskeletal
Outline how data collected is stored and shared to benefit patients in the National Health Service and what legislation is in place to protect the data from misuse.
Reflect on 3 new skills and 3 new pieces of learning which have been of personal significance to you.
