I've got something like 12 weeks holidays before uni, but I dunno what im gonna do ?

If I dont have something, im gonna go crazy just sitting at home.

I would have obviously liked to go on holiday somewhere nice, but passport problems and not really having anyone to go with got in the way with that idea.

and then its money of course, money gets in the way of everything dont it ?(well most things)

Well, I dont really have alot of mates to socialise with, and friends I do have, are not that so much my type and into some of the things I am. so going out and hanging with them is kinda not an option for my 12 weeks of summer.

So im not stuck at home for 12 weeks, with nothing to do. Some of you would say get a job, but i dont need the money(not to sound big headed or anything, ive made enough money from the internet) and plus I dont really want to work, I want to have fun ! I cant remember the last time I had enjoyed myself.

I could join some clubs or something, but im finding that they are only 1 or 2 day things and they cost ! - its like 90 quid for 2 day course in windsurfing, thats not exactly gonna fill my 12 weeks of holiday.

soo im stuck for ideas... ??

Well if you work for some of it (despite not wanting/needing to?) then it'll take time off your hands, you could more easily allow yourself to go on expensive 2 day courses, and it'll look good on your cv.
And you could go travelling alone you know!

TSR :P

Do something productive- improve yourself.

EDIT: So you have money but you don't have enough money to go travelling?

Why don't you travel round Britain instead of abroad?

You said you haven't got enough cash to go on holiday, yet you also say you don't wanna get a job, as you don't need the money... rriiiight.

why don't you buy the worlds hardest jigsaw (probs spelt that wrong) and then spend all summer putting it together.

Well, main thing is that my passport has not been sorted out, its a long storey, but I cant leave the country !, I was planning to go to south africa for 8 weeks or so, I could stay with friends and family, but cant because of the passport issues. and this holiday would take a fair amount of my money, which to be honest I need for uni expenses. and I want to save it, but i could use it i suppose if i wanted too. So basically, the main thing is the passport.

Travveling around britain ? not for me thanks, maybe to cornwall an those areas, but again no one to go with ! I dont fancy going around on my own.

to be fair,it sounds like anything anyone suggest you'll come up with a reason why you can't do it.
you sound like an intelligent person,i'm sure you'll figure something out.
the volunteering thing sounds good.

Don't do a TSR type thing. For once, just go mad. Don't study, or work on your CV, or anything of the sort.

-Find a last minute deal, and someone, anyone to go with, you're going to uni after the summer.
-Sport?
-Nightlife?
-Learn to drive?

Do something productive. I've been making stuff from random scrap, exercising, learning a language and I'm hopefully gonna try out a new sport next week. You can do anything, so just grab an idea and run with it.

Go to these people:
http://www.tallships.org/

Go on a voyage as a crew member on a tall (old style) ship. You could go around the UK, to Spain or wherever.

Give it a go, what will you loose?
