Architecture EPQ / Degree advice

Hi so i just started Year 13 at college and am struggling with my A Levels but have found a great interest in Engineering and design.

I study Maths and Graphics but don't get amazing Grades, im hoping to get B's in both in my Finals. I also Have AS levels in computer science and Btech computing from a previous college.

I like Architecture a lot and have based my graphics project on it which will hopefully look good on a Uni application. I also am basing my EPQ on architecture but am not sure what path to follow with it. From a geography GCSE i thought tying Zero carbon Housing and architecture would be a good idea (like the BedZED project) but am not sure if i should do a 5000 word essay or 1000 word report with a design piece.

If anyone has any advise for the path i could follow for my uni/apprenticeship course or any ideas for my EPQ i would be very grateful.

- i am aware my grades may not be good enough for Uni but with my extra AS-Levels i can qualify for some, though an apprenticeship may be a better option (there arnt many architecture/engineering based apprenticeships that dont require physics).

Cheers
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.
