i don't personally know what sociology is like but I'm currently a first year student studying a level biology if that helps

You did both?

OP: A-Level Sociology is simple. You do not need to be smart to get a B or above. The content is simple, but I'll admit some of Year 2 was hard to get your head around. Plus, essays are generally not fun - but the only real challenge is doing the exam. Because of the fact that the content is relatively easy, the exam questions can be quite difficult! If you keep practising essays and applying knowledge, you'll be fine.

bio is good, there's just a lot to it, but you'll be fine as long as you put in the work
