My skin is very oily yet it can also get dry/peeling patches.
I used to use Neutrogena Visibly Clear Gentle Exfoliating Wash, but since I stopped using it about a month ago a lot of my blackheads have gone and my skin has been less blotchy. However there is some left, and I still get dry/peeling skin patches, so I am looking for another skin exfoliator that won't make things worse, perhaps a more natural/gentle one.
So has anyone got any recommendations? Preferably ones that aren't expensive!

I'd try one from Lush. Ocean Salt is great, once a week if your skin tends to have dry patches.

Use st. Ives apricot scrub! tis absolutely amazing stuff. Has really made my skin clear and a lot less dull, plus is pretty cheap (bout £3 i think).

Yeah, St. Ives apricto scrub is good, it's usually £3.99, but it's buy one get one free in Sainsburys I think.

i love the scrub your nose in it face wash although it is £7 a bottle but it lasts ages and your skin sounds like mine so it should suit it

I used to use that before, but personally didn't really like it. It was mainly for the simple reason i HATE that horrible sweet apricot smell, plus it didn't really do much for my skin, i don't think. Using the Avon one has made me realise that, anyway.
