I recently bought a dance mat off ebay and I received it today. I connected the mat to the ps2, put the disc in but the mat doesn't work. The disc works, because I tried playing the game with a manual controllor and that worked, but when I try and control it with the mat, it doesn't. I've done exactly as the instrucations have said, placed it flat on the floor, smoothed out any crinkles etc.

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing, message the seller and say the product isn't working. Either get a refund or go down the dispute route. Groan.

Ha. I've bought a sat nav, nintendo, mobile phone charger and goodness knows what else and they've all worked.

pick the dance mat up by the end with the wire coming out (unplug it first) and shake it hard! All the little wirey things might be in the wrong place so need sorting out! Holding it vertically and just shaking hard might sort it out!

Shaking hasn't worked. Grrr. I've sent an angry email to the seller. Any more ideas on how to make it work while I wait for an answer please?

lol I did...except it wasn't particularly polite. I'd already sent the seller 3 emails regarding the dance mat and she didn't answer any of them... I doubt she'll read the one I've just sent her.

I would contact eBay if they stop responding completely :/
