Wages are paid on a 4 week basis.

Pay for 16-18 is £4.25 per hour with time and a half (omg, so much more!) on bank holidays.

How do I know this? I used to work there and my friend does at the moment.

Enjoy!

Not sure if its weekly or monthly though....

I think what he was getting at was that 3.75 isn't the worst it gets

£3.75 is the starting wage at my local McDonalds I believe.
Isn't the minnmum wage for 16 year olds £3.75 though? How does the above poster only get £3.60?

EDIT: Sorry, my bad, am now informed that the min. wage is £3.53

I am in the process of finding the right web-page but I was working in a fruit-packing place getting paid minimum wage, and it was £5.52 - it went up in April I believe.

Apologies - I have just worked in 2 places, Im 19, and I was given what was termed the minimum wage of £5.52 and in my second place just over minimum wage (I was told) £5.60. I think some places just go up to make it easier or whatever, obviously not mcdonalds sorry
