Some links have been reposted further down in the thread as they are not working in this post, I am not sure why this is the case. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please use these links for the following resources:
(Original post by jameschadwick331)

For some reason, the google drive and other resources are not working here

Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...PM?usp=sharing

Freesciencelessons:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqb...G3_bw/featured
Primrose Kitten: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBg...fJwaA/featured
Sciencewithhazel:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMd...ONtCG-zPaWigog
Mr Bruff:https://www.youtube.com/user/mrbruff
Mathsgenie:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTr...ZdRJDe2Nnvnxvw
CorbettMaths:https://www.youtube.com/user/corbettmaths
Craigndave:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0H...xlrwBAHJ5S9JQg
Computer science Tutor: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsB...Rg-vQASN2ZeHwg

I have compiled a large list of resources that everyone should be free to use for their best chance at doing well in their GCSEs.

A google drive containing many resources on Sciences, and including textbooks and additional help:

This contains powerpoints on all paper 1 and 2 topics for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. It also contains two textbooks for each of the three sciences with hundreds of questions you can use to strengthen your knowledge on things you are struggling with.

This drive also contains a full specification following textbook for mathematics, computer science and French, so you are able to strengthen your knowledge in these subjects as well. I will also be adding textbooks and more resources for subjects like Geography and History in the future, so please leave any suggestions for what I should look for below.

As well as this google drive there are a lot of other free sources and you should all use:

For sciences:
Freesciencelessons is one of the best channels for GCSE science, summarising information greatly, making it easier to learn the content fast then practising answer questions to greatly reinforce your knowledge on topics. For me, this channel is great to make notes on for biology and chemistry, however for Physics I prefer to just go straight into answering questions, however, Physics is my favourite subject of the three sciences and is quite strongly my best science.

Other science youtube channels I would recommend are: Primrose Kitten (Who also covers Maths)
And Sciencewithhazel. Both are very great at summarising everything you need to know in a very fast and short amount of time and is great for quick notetaking for things you are struggling with.

Maths:
For maths, as with physics, I think the best way to learn content is by answering questions thoroughly and learning from your own mistakes. However, some youtube channels I would recommend are;
Maths Genie and Corbettmaths.
If your school has subscribed to any additional things e.g Hegartymaths or maths watch, please also use them.
For maths questions, I would recommend using the following websites:
https://www.mathsgenie.co.uk/gcse.html
https://www.mixmaths.com/exam-papers
For maths, doing exam papers that are not in your specification isn't that bad, as most mathematics is the same, however, when nearing exams I would advise completing only your specification exams. I have also added some Revision Booklets into the google drive for you to use. They are pixl mathematics workbooks with specific grade targets e.g grade 1 questions grade 9 questions.

English Language/English Literature:
The only resource I can recommend is Mr Bruff

Business studies:
I would advise using tutor2u, it is mainly an A level site however if you are struggling with specific topics I am certain they will have something that will help. Honestly, an amazing website and is brilliant at summarising.
https://www.tutor2u.net/business

Computing:
I would recommend the following youtube channels:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0HzEBLlJxlrwBAHJ5S9JQg - Craigndave, A brilliant resource, cover full specifications (OCR and AQA)
And https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsBxhDfwURg-vQASN2ZeHwg -The computer science tutor, another brilliant channel.

Languages:
My only advice for languages is learning set phrases for each topic, e.g Si J'avais le choix ........ (I am studying French for GCSE) And then using those phrases in any opportunity given. Also learn the vocabulary, not all of it, but enough so that you can at least look like you know what you're talking about.

History:
If any of you have any recommendations of a specific area e.g medicine that you would like me to try and find please let me know. I have added some textbooks to the google drive that will hopefully be able to help you. There is a large number of textbooks for history so I apologise if this takes a long time for me to compile what you need.

As GCSEs approach, people will be feeling increasingly stressed, so my advice is to stay calm, do a little of revision and overtime it will build up, I promise.save

I will also continue to update this with more resources as I find more things that I may find useful for everyone in the future.

Another science channel for GCSEs on YouTube that I have seen is Cognito. It's quite new but still has quite concise information so just try these and see which you most prefer.

Hi, If you check the google drive I have added an Edexcel textbook for the Anglo Saxon topic I think. I will continue to look for resources that fit Weimar medicine or plains Indians, however as I don't do history this may take a while to find, please be patient. Thank you.

Hello, before I begin I would just like to say that any resources that have been used in this have not been created by me and all credit should go to owners.

I have compiled a large list of resources that everyone should be free to use for their best chance at doing well in their GCSEs.
