Hi all!
I’ve managed to get offered a nurse job right after my interview and I was told to wait for an email from HR detailing my offer and all the next steps I need to take so I can sort out and send them my documents for pre-employment check.
However I haven’t heard anything back yet and I’m getting worried since I’ve not arranged with them these checks (since I have to wait for that said email detailing what I need to do/what to send).
So I was just wondering how long roughly does HR get in touch with you after your interview?

Going from interview to actually starting a job in the NHS often takes months. I once moved wards within the same trust and it took well over two months.

If it’s been over a week/10 days, I would consider giving HR a ring or the person listed as the contact on the job advert. No harm in chasing them a little (often things only get moving if you’re proactive)
