Ring UCAS and ask them to decline your insurance. Alternatively wait until results and then ask them to release you. Either way should result in you being able to aply next year. Although hopefully it won't come to that.

EDIT: Also can you not click cancel choice on your choices screen? Wouldn't recommend it and i'm unsure if it would work after accepting BUT it might be worth a shot. Might be best to ring though.

Well technically you have to go to your insurance if the grades go that way. If they chose to release you from the agreement then that is there choice.
If you get the grades you will technically be accepted into your insurance, but that doesnt mean you have to go there. You can always decline to take up your place on results day, send back the form declaring that you will not be attending the Uni, and then you will be free to apply for the 2009 cycle. It won't really affect you that much if you don't take it off your UCAS form.

If you defintealy want to decline though, you can always just contact UCAS and ask if you can decline your insurance.
if you get your grades for your firm then your in, but if your firm turns you down and you, insurance, you have to ask them them to release you, which they don't have to do, but changes are they will, then you will go into clearing

you can decline your insurance, but don't pull out off ucas cos you prob still get into your firm

if this is wrong i am sorry
