GCSE Mocks

I’ve got mocks in 2/3 weeks - I really need help with how to write and structure answers! Particularly English and History.

In English, I’d really like to get 7s (language and literature). I think I have reasonably good ideas, but I never know how to apply them in a correct way to answer the question.

In history, I started getting 8/7 in most class-assessments that we did, but I’m now getting high 6s/7s. How do I achieve high marks on the questions?

Annoyingly I can only help you with English as I didn't do History but you may be able to apply some of the knowledge to both of them! What exam board are you doing?
