If I do:

3 hours of revision every night
6 days a week
for 13 weeks before the exams

I will get good grades?

I am predicted AS CDDD and want at least CCCC at A level.

Yep

you'll probably get the grades you want. 3hrs and night, 6 days a week is plenty. And you started revision early, so you'll be fine

is this for next year?

i heard stories that some people were doing 350+ hours of revision for their ASs which seemed a tad excessive to me.

Just work hard throughout the WHOLE course - that is the most important thing

What are the best revision techniques:

- Highlighting
- Consolidating you Notes
- Mnemonics
- Mind Maps / Spider Diagrams
- Cue Cards

Do these all work? Which are the best?

They all work but what works best depends on you I'd say consolidating is the most important thing. Cue cards are good but you should use all the techniques. Good Luck

The amount of time needed to get certain grades is entirely dependent on the person sitting the exams, and infact the subject at hand. I've seen a number of people on TSR who rarely do revision yet they get straight As, whereas some people need to do 5 hours of revision every night, yet they get no higher than Cs at A-Level. It would therefore be pointless of me to give you any information on how many hours of revision I did a night and for how long etc.
