Is it true that in the afternoon talk about Economics (one of the course-specific talks) they specifically said that they like 8A*? I went to the open day but I went to the morning Economics talk which didn't mention GCSE grades (and was extremely boring). Someone told me that this was said in the afternoon talk.

Personally I was unimpressed by LSE. It was good but UCL seems much nicer. It seemed a bit like LSE was all about taking students' money and getting them out the door to a good job, rather than the actual teaching and learning.
