I have purchased a 16-25 Young persons railcard.

Does anyone know where I can go to purchase a Rail travel card for one month to London, I have 'omitted' to doing this until now.

A website link will be fine.

Many Thanks.

You can either buy an oyster card (http://oyster.tfl.gov.uk) or go to your local rail station. Afaik you can't buy them online.

I believe when I said travel for London I meant taking the National Rail for 1 month from my city to London, such as commuting.

Oyster cards are, to my knowledge for tube, bus etc.

National Rail, any ideas?

I don't know if you can buy monthly tickets. Checking with your nearest rail station would be the easiest option. I know you can buy weekly tickets but you can't buy them online (I believe).

They're worth it if you travel a lot or if you travel a fair distance. Mine stops me paying £27 to go home and paying £18 instead.

There goes a nice fiver then Damn.

I have a railcard cost me £24 and is the best buy i've ever bought. Costs me £15 to get to Bristol from Southampton instead of £25. Bargain.

You should just be able to get the ticket from your local train station.

Hmm, might have to purchase one, is a uni card valid proof, or are they annoying ***** and require a whole bunch of papers to prove your age
