Medical Marvels?

With the recent case of the pregnant American man giving birth and the recent discussion of sex education being made compulsory at a lower age group, I thought about this case and how it would be interesting to consider it from the above perspectives. Can one ever really go against nature, despite the advances made in science?

This was a famous case study of a child in 1930's Peru who became the world's youngest mother. The facts of the case differ wildly and there are even some arguments that the entire story was a hoax. Lina Medina does not do interviews but this may well be a case of a medical marvel?
When I firs heard of Lina Medina, I didn't believe it but apparently the story is quite famous.

For all the biomed students on TSR, has this case ever come up in your studies?
Woah that's young :eek3:

Meh, even Europe has it's own fairshare of nutjobs. Not being rude, just pointing out a fact.
