Hi so I’m applying for Child Nursing and I currently study BTEC Health and Social Care and Photigraphy. I feel like I won’t get into child nursing as I heard that if universities don’t like personal statements for child nursing, they will not even consider an interview which reduce my chances of even getting an offer for universities. Is this true? And I know child nursing has limited spaces, but should I still go for it? I have a strong passion for it. If not, I was considering learning disabilities but is it easier to go into, and is there more spaces and more chances available than child nursing as I’ve heard that learning disabilities has less space than child nursing. What should I do?????

There do tend to be fewer spaces for child nurse students and fewer again for LD nurses. Yes children's nursing is competitive, however any course at any uni would dismiss an application if it wasn't strong enough (aka they "don't like it").
Make sure you're on track for entry requirements for BTECs, make sure you meet any other entry requirements, get a bit if work experience with children and write the best possible personal statement you can. That's the best way of getting offers.
