Whens the time to be worried that you have not yet settled down with a partner? What age would you say? Does it become harder and harder to get a guy (because they are all married/have girlfriends) the older you get do you think?

thirties I'd say, because usually by that time most of the good ones have been snapped up already!

Yeah probably after thirty it's harder, but it still happens a fair bit.

come on, guys are too easy to get, there are so many desperate men at any age, and having less around is better as sometimes for young people there is so much choice you feel its a waste to settle for one (happening to me at the moment). stop worrying!

The only women that hit on me are 30+. So I'm guessing that they are feeling like they have to make a move. Which is something you young 'uns should do more often.

no girl wants to settle for a desperate man,
if anything women in thier 30's and 40's who are divorced/looking for new partners are much more picky about who they date. determined to get it right second time round and find someone they can spend the rest of thier lives with they decend in thier thousands to online dating sites and have huge lists of must haves and "deal-breakers" as there are so many desperate men out there they can afford to do this.

can you compete looks wise with brad pitt? ..no? .NEXT,
...not making atleast 30k a year and have a holiday house in the bahamas?NEXT,
..still got teenage kids living with you? .NEXT
no "occupation" listed on your profile page, she stops reading right there and then. NEXT

Its not hard at any age - you just need to know where to look. I think thirties is prime....all the men who were a bit boystrous in their teens/twenties are deciding to settle down!

as a medical student, i've heard that once you start your job, it's pretty hard to meet new people and find time to date. which scares me, as it's 2 years away, and i've heard other people saying that even 5th and 6th years find it hard too.

Hmm. A lot of people probably don't want to date while at uni (it ties you down a little. And now a lot of people don't want to settle down until they're in their 30s. The statistics will be lower because of people who don't bother with uni and get married at 18 or so (not that there's anything wrong with that). But there'll be plenty of guys who go to uni so will be older.

I'm waffling aren't I.
