How to fund a 2 year masters degree?

So, in order to be a genetic counsellor, I would need to go to either glasgow or machester university to do a masters degree in genetic counseilling. But before that, I am going to do a bachelors degree at Newcastle university in Biogenetics.

How am I meant to fund a masters degree, when I would have to pay acommodation, living costs etc. I have checked and I'm not eligble for any scholarships. I would struggle to get a part time job because the master's degree would be full time for 2 years.

Like everyone else: borrow from family/commercially. Take a year out to earn enough money. Aren't you eligible for a Masters loan from the government?
Unless other funding specific to your masters is available, you'd get a postgraduate loan and use savings or work for a bit.

My family said they won't fund me because that means they would be funding me for 5 years. And if I took a year out to earn money, that means I wouldn't have a proper job till after 6 years ( I really don't want to take a year out ). And I could get a masters loan off the government, but doesn't that not cover accomidation or living costs?

Sounds like your options are limited then. Even though you don't want to take a year out, I can't see how you can do it otherwise, if your family isn't prepared to help and you don't have any savings or income to pay for it as it stands.
Have you considered the NHS Scientist Training Program? It is competitive but you would be paid a salary whilst you train as a genetic counsellor (aka genomic counsellor): https://www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/explore-roles/life-sciences/genomic-counselling/entry-and-training-genomics-counselling

there are no enough government encouragement for poor children to attain university. Sometimes one thinks whether this is conspiracy against less financial privilege children. The poor one.

Masters university graduate student should be important to government fundings including living cost loans if the government really want poor children get good job and pay taxes.

Is like someone is upset poor children might become so educated with masters degrees and take over.

We shouldn't funds enough. Blablabla.

Sounds very dodgy minded policy against poor students.
