Hey you guys,

as the thread title states I'm looking into postgraduate study now. It's not for me - its for a friend

She currently holds a 5 year degree for Architecture from India which is affiliated with the Indian Architecture Council.
She would like to now pursue her post-grad in the UK. And understandly it's quite difficult considering that most ask for a 2.1/1 as well as part 1 RIBA exemption.
I'm currently looking for courses for her as we speak, but was wondering if people could give me some info on the following schools of Architecture with regard to post graduate study - (furthermore, she would also like it to be a one year course if possible)

- Oxford Brookes
- Cardiff
- Newcastle

Thanking you all very much,

PG study is pretty broad. What would she like to specialise in? Does she want to do a research based course or a taught course? When you say post graduate do you mean like an MA/MPhil or a PhD?

or do you mean she wants to qualify for the RIBA part 2? in which case wouldnt she need to qualify part 1?

I've found out how she can get on the course without having done a RIBA undergraduate degree - she would need to get registered with the ARB.

She's not quite sure right now but something perhaps related to real estate or urban design. It's really up for grabs mainly right now.

Taught course - and it's a RIBA part 2 exemption diploma degree she's looking for.
