Hey Looking for a scooter to get me from A-B. I have a full car license but no experience with scooters so looking for some advice and recommendations.Ideally I want a cheap ride (low tax, low mpg, low insurance) but also want something safe for up to 30 mile journeys. Most of my trips would be short (5-10 miles) but I do occasionally go further. Can a 49cc handle longer journeys or should I go for 125cc? Or am i wrong with both?Any other info for beginners would be appreciated. Thanks

Many moons ago I use to ride a Suzuki Love and a Honda C90. I enjoyed them both. You're probably best with a 125.

Depends what kind of roads you're driving on. I've been commuting on a 125cc motorbike for a week now and slowly getting the hang of it but already feel like it's a little underpowered for faster roads.
