Looking at studying an English Literature combined honors philosophy degree but i'm not exactly sure what you do in Philosophy (obviously the typical metaphysics, controversity etc.) Is there any maths involved? And just general with combined degrees?
I do BSc Philosophy and Economics and I can tell you there's no maths involved in the philosophy side of things (at least I've not encountered any maths yet). The closest thing to maths we have is a module on logic. Other than that, it's straight philosophy.
“Philosophy of Economics consists of inquiries concerning (a) rational choice, (b) the appraisal of economic outcomes, institutions and processes, and (c) the ontology of economic phenomena and the possibilities of acquiring knowledge of them."
But this is what the Stanford Encyclopaedia says anyway.
