In modulation when a carrier wave is frequency or amplitude modulated by an information signal what actually is a carrier wave and an information siganl? Is the sound wave a carrier wave?? From where does this siganl originates!??
Can someone make me understand this. You could use an example where i am using a microphone and a loudspeaker.

Thanks i understood that but is information signal the radio signal? And so what is the carrier wave?
How there are 2 different types of waves?
I mean in modulation a carrier wave is modulated by a signal wave? What?

Leave all of this. Consider im using a loudspeaker.
I speak into the microphone. My sound waves are converted to radio signals, right?
1)Are these radio signals information signal?
2)If then, what is a carrier wave in all of this?

carrier wave is just the unmodulated radio frequency - a pure sinewave of constant amplitude and frequency.

the information is the audio frequency which in AM is used to modulate the amplitude of the carrier wave
