Planning on having some this summer. In your opinion, what makes a good garden party? (i.e. food, decor, people, drink..etc)

Drink definately. Parties with no alcohol can get very boring. Barbeques are good. O - and one of those hut things... Can't remember the name.

Take down the greenhouse.
Leave some speakers in a window upstairs facing the garden, it's better than having them in the garden and in the way.

Inviting me?

But honestly...I suppose a ton of food is also a must. Personally, not too much alcohol, someone will end up vomiting and being a general jerk.

I don't suppose decorations would have to be too extravagant if your garden is particularly nice, but that's just me, I love nature anyway

summery drinks like cocktails would be good.
make sure u've got good music.
that's pretty much all you need, stick to simple food like burgers and bbq stuff, if everyone's drunk they wont really care what they're eating anyway.

If you buy champagne DO NOT GET SWEET CHAMPAGNE! Several of my friends have made that mistake as it's usually cheaper but everyone I've talked to at each party prefers dry. Might just be us but a dry cava would be better. Sweet is all too often sickly.
