Passed my CBT last month and started saving up for a bike

But jeez, everyone I know has been a ball busting party pooper. They always ask why get a bike when you can a car. So much so my old man says hes willing to get me a car for free cause hes afraid I get into a road accident.

Argh, does everyone else who rides a bike get this much agro.

I don't ride a bike, but i'd way prefer a bike to a car. Although there's a lot of negatives they're so much nicer.

Ugh. If I wanted a car. I would of gone out and brought one.

Hardcore biker for life. Until my dream day comes and I get to drive a Mazda RX-8 And then I'll be a RX-8 fanboy for the rest of my life.

If you want to go everywhere dressed like a power ranger then that's your choice.
It's not other peoples fault that you won't listen to sense.

I've currently got a little moped, and it's AWESOME. Ok a bit slow.

If I could I'd have a bike forever! Can't due to a few personal issues, but if I can ina few years, no hesitation.

But mate, you think it's hard being a guy on a bike?! Be a girl wanting one!

Good luck getting your bike

Yay for you But I can't stand mopeds or scooters. They're too slow.

Currently looking at a Honda CT 125 or Hyosung Comet 125. But they're kinda slow as well cuz they got puny 125 cc engines. Can't wait too pass my next test and get a Kawasaki Ninja.

You can look at all the statistics you like about accident causes (mostly rider error/lack of training and experience - or a car hitting you) but the fact is, when you twitch your right hand and the ZX-6 between your legs roars at you, you blink and you're doing "70", you can shove the statistics up your exhaust!
BIKES ARE GREAT!!!!!
Cars have their place, it's very hard carrying a snowboard on a bike, but bikes are freedom, you need to take responsibility for your own actions on a bike and it's marvellous.
Keep going with it. Yeah, people will keep going on about it, some friends will worry about you, but most will want to grab a pillion and blat down the road with you.

Haha. I agree. You get that sense of power when riding a bike which a car doesn't offer.

Although driving cars are more practical. They're like moving storage boxes.
