I'd be looking forward to seeing a lot more bands if I'd got a hold of a Saturday ticket..ugh!

Sorry, this is just my anger at Ticketmaster alert.

I'm not going this year, none of the acts really amazed me, there's plenty I'd like to see but just not enough. Although I would like to go to see if the amount of chavs has increased yet again....

No, no, nothing like that. I just asked Ticketmaster to warn me if certain bands came to Ireland and when they did, in the form of Oxegen, it didn't. I suppose they hadn't been announced at that stage.

Also, the fact that vital isn't happening this year either didn't help.

Yeah, but I've no interest in going for the weekend and I haven't seen any Saturday tickets.

Going for the weekend is all the fun though.

Who do you want to see so badly on the Saturday anyway?

Single tickets are still around in Dublin..

Yeah, it would be fun, I just couldn't be bothered with all the hassle of bring a tent and there was no one I really wanted to see on the other days.

There were a few my friend and I wanted to see, like Panic at the disco, but meh. I'm sure I'll get over it.

I would try around Dublin except it's like...3 hours away, and that's a long way to go for a maybe ticket.

Yep.
Obviously looking forward to seeing Rage, Amy Winehouse (if shes not dead by then), Pendulum, Justice, MGMT, Kings of Leon, Newton Faulkner, Echo and the Bunnymen, Seasick Steve...

Also looking forward to the entertainment on Thursday night, the tribute band stage and headphone disco especially!

Can anyone recommend some of the new bands to check out if I have time?

Unfortunately I won't be there in time for the headphone disco...

In Case of Fire and The Script might be worth seeing on the Sunday evening.
