EAR problem - cracking on high volumes?

When theres really loud music playing i hear cracking sounds in my left ear like in the car when i turn up the bass.. my right ear is ok so could i have suffered permanent ear damage?

I have tried ear wax drops but although iits improved SLIGHTLY i still get cracking sounds on loud music.. and its uncomfortable.. help?

Hmm I dunno. Since this is a student forum most people are not experts - and will not be able to help you. It sounds like your ear might just be sensitive though? Go to the doctors and get it checked out for peace of mind.

Hiii

I went to a loud gig about a month ago and since then I have suffered with a constant ringing in my ears. I went to the doctor and he said it will go away on its own. However it has not. I have tried ear drops to see if it unblocks my ears but still the ringing continues. I am going back to the doctors this week who will either put me on some medication or refer me to a hearing specialist who will be able to sort out the problem. Anyway this ringing in ears is called tinnitus. By the looks of it loud music has caused it. Usually it will go away by itself but if it does not then I would suggest going to the doctors. I doubt it is permanent but I would suggest to turn the volume down on your stero becasue it could lead to the ringing becoming permanent.
