Its D because at the moment the box is released it continues with the velocity that it had while on the helicopter(horizontal). As time goes by it increases its vertical speed and follows a parabolic path.

Another vote for D. Box has constant horiz speed and downward acceleration (g), motion takes a parabolic path. Like 2nd half of a projectile (after max height).
