C1: 95%
C2: 90%

What would I need to get in my last module to get more than 80% overall, if all modules were split up equally? (33/33/33)

Can we put it in the form of an inequality? =P

Unparseable or potentially dangerous latex formula. Error 4: no dvi output from LaTeX. It is likely that your formula contains syntax errors or worse.
\frac{90+95+x}{3} \times 100>80%
?

Hah, I just realised if I got that inequality wrong I'd look like such an idiot.

You need 240/300. So 240-95-90=55.

Oh yeah, it's out of 300. >_>

****, I'll only get that if I have a generous marker.

You got 90% and 95% and you'll need a generous marker to get 55%? Let me guess, the other module was S1?
... Yeah.

After the exam I pretty much thought, "****, need to calculate how much I need in C1 and C2 if I got 40%... hmm... 100%... yeah I can get that".

Went out of the C1 and C2 exam thinking, "woo!" Came back here, checked some answers, got one question from C1 wrong I think (lost 3-5 marks) and one on C2 which was slightly shaky but I still think I got right... so I'm looking for (optimistically) 95% in C1 and 100% in C2, but I still think I cocked up S1.

.. and yet you couldn't work out a simple percentage average. Tut tut.

Isn't S1 just subbing things into equations? What exam board you on?

A-level Maths. It's the future, kids

You're getting over 90% in C1 and C2, but can't work out what you need to get an A? Haha, nice work!

Well, I did, but then I thought it was wrong. Then I went and did other crap.

And S1, I don't know what the hell I did, but I *really* don't think I did well. D= I don't know, I got like about 1/3 of the paper right, definately... so that's about 30% in the bag... not sure about the rest.

It's a shame your 90%+ mark will be brought down by the stats
Maybe your been hard on yourself? I often come out of exams i thought were easy and come out with a lower grade then id wanted, and come out of hard exams and got a higher grade then i expected.

Good luck
