Please keep anon or delete as I know it's no big deal but still embarrasing to me!

Anyway yeah, recently in say the past fortnight ive had bad breath, and it's really annoying. Ive never had a major problem in the past, just you know when ive eaten bad food, but recently I just get it everyday.
I havent starting eating any different foods, and I brush my teeth and use mouthwash regularly as well. I cant think of anything that can cause it and it's so annoying, I need to have chewing gum in my mouth all the time, and as soon as I take it out, it comes back.

It's not the greatest thing you know?
Has anyone had this and does anyone have any good cures or know the cause?
Mouthwash doesnt even work for long either.

Thanks

I tend to get it after an hour or so of my mouth being closed.. It seems to come back slower if I breath through my mouth/talk to people. Also I eat a banana at break which takes it away until Lunch.

Drink plenty to avoid your mouth being dry. Keep a pack of mints in your pocket too just incase

You could try flossing to get rid of bits of food and bacteria between your teeth.
I remember hearing somewhere that mouthwashes with alcohol in them can actually make bad breath worse, so maybe try a different brand?

Sometimes it's just an inherent problem, just make sure you don't kiss anybody.

It can mean you need a filling I think? Either that or a root canal...

The BIGGEST cause of bad breath is a dry mouth. Keep it lubricated with a mouthful of water every few minutes and it may fix it perfectly.

Otherwise:

Check your tonsils - are they inflamed?
See a dentist - are your teeth and gums healthy?
Is the inside of your mouth healthy and pink or are there any white deposits?
Do you eat exclusively strongly-flavoured food?
