You're joking right? Waitrose is worse paid than Sainsbury's or Tesco (and therefore presumably most places remotely large)

Yeah but you get a great big bonus every year, as well as benefits, money off at loads of places, discount at John Lewis, etc etc. Plus it's a really great place to work, far better than the other Supermarkets.
Aaaaand after a few months or so, the pay catches up with the other two anyway.

Depends were you are, ie. more in central London.

Tesco pays well I am led to believe. After recent pay-rise I think my job Boots also pays well.
