Do you hold the eyelash curlers for long enough?

What about heated eyelash curlers, or curling mascara? If all else fails go for false!

Try false lashes if you haven't before. I like Eylure Naturalites because they are eay to put on and are reasonably priced (about £5 from Boots or Superdrug).

Heated curlers, or false lashes... can be fiddly to get on though, but if you have the patience, MAC lashes are really nice!

Yeah, I'd say heated eyelash curlers. However, if you can't be bothered to buy new ones, then try blasting normal ones with a hairdryer. I curl mine and then be sure to put curling mascara on too!

How do heated curlers work?

Hell, how do normal eyelash curlers work?

They never seem to make any difference to me. I must be doing it wrong.

You slide the curler up your lashes up to the root, and squeeze, then you loosen them and move them further to the tip, and squeeze (holding for a few moments each squeeze) and keep moving them up the lash til you get to the tips. Repeat if you wish.

Never use curlers on lashes that have mascara on them. Always curl them BEFORE mascara.

You could go to a salon and get them permed? I don't think it's that expensive.

It works even better if after you clamp them, you lift it upwards and hold it there.

If a heated curler is too expensive, you can always heat up your curler with a lighter.

I have the same problem, I have the terrible habit of picking the mascara off my eyelashes at the end of the day which usually pulls a few lashes out too I usually heat my curlers with my hairdryer then hold for about 20 secs before putting about 2 coats of curl and volume mascara

Or, even better; a hairdryer. You won't want to put a flame onto metal - you won't be able to vary the heat and you can seriously burn yourself if the metal gets too hot - plus, you won't want scorch marks on your curlers either. A hairdryer at least can be set on a cooler temperature.

Erm i don't think my plastic tipped eyelash curlers would be too pleased with me about setting them alight to be honest.
