Dear employer,

With regret, it is my wish to inform the firm of my resignation effective "date when you’ll stop working".

I intend to continue my line of work as normal until this date.

Regards.
"Your name."

Basically, just keep it simple and formal and make sure you don't say you'll stop working until your minimum notice of resignation will have past.

You realise you really should give them about 2 weeks notice before you leave?

Dear ##,
Following my conversation with ### on Friday last week, I am writing to confirm that I am resigning from my position as Nursery Nurse at #####. I will be leaving the Nursery on Friday 11th July. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and have gained valuable experience but I have managed to obtain employment at another nursery closer to home.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for making my time at ##### an enjoyable one.

Yours sincerely,

me!
