I'm doing my work experience next week at a graphics company and they want to help me with my coursework. By help I mean teach me how to work computer programs like photoshop and brainstorm ideas.

The man who interviewed me for this placement said that this might be against the rules?

I've looked all over the internet and I can't find the official rules, I was just wondering if anyone here can tell me if it would be??

Thanks a lot

I don't know what your coursework is on, or what subject it is, but I'm going to assume it's ICT or another DT subject.

In which case, as long as he doesn't physically do the work for you, he can teach you how to use the tools generically without provocation on behalf of the exam board.
