Intelligence Vs Knowledge

For me, genius is 99% intelligence and 1% knowledge.

Knowledge, or regurgitation is a mere test of memory. Intelligence or nous is always more imo.

As for definitions, knowledge tells you that a tomato is a fruit. Intelligence tells you not to put it in the fruit bowl.

Any thoughts?

Somewhat interesting is the fact that at their extremes it seems you'd be unable to tell them apart. If someone was infinitely intelligent, they would deduce all knowledge from a single observation, and if someone was infinitely knowledgable, they would appear to be able to solve any problem, even if they couldn't.

theres also a lot to be said for common sense and real world experience.
