guyss im really don't understand this question.. i know it is normal distribution but how can I do this?

'The height of door frames used by a building firm in a new apartment complex is 1.830m, however the heights of men are normal distributed with mean 1.730 m and variance of 0.064m^2. Find the proportion of men who will struggle to walk through the door frame?'

Use the cumulative distribution table (z) to find
p(x>1.83)

A normal distribution should be in the form X~N(mean,variance)
The normal distribution of men is X~N(1.73,0.064)
So you want to find the proportion of men that exceed the height of the door
So you want P(X>1.83)
Using your calculator and use normal cd.
For each entry:
Lower Bound:1.83
Upper Bound 123456789 (any large number)
standard deviation (σ) root(0.064) as standard deviation squared is variance
mean (µ) as 1.73
This will find the proportion of men that cant fit
